Unable to share screen while using Google Chrome.
Explanation:
Users who are running FEV Tutor's Whiteboard on Google Chrome browser version 21 or above may experience delays and unexpected responses. If the chrome version is update to 28.0.1500.72 or above, the manual setting listed below is not required.
Resolution:
- We strongly recommend using Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari or Opera browsers, instead of the version 21 of the Google Chrome browser.
- If Chrome 21 is used: Disable the default Flash Pepper (PPAPI) plugin in Chrome 21:
- Type chrome://plugins in the browser tab.
- Click + to expand Details in the upper-right area of the screen.
- Locate the Shockwave Flash plugin in the list.
- Ensure that Shockwave Flash plugin of Type: NPAPI, is in the list and it is enabled.*
- Now locate the Shockwave Flash plugin of the Type:PPAPI (out-of-process).
- Click Disable for the PPAPI Flash plugin.
- Re-launch the browser.
* If you do not have NPAPI type of Shockwave Flash plugin, then download latest Flash Player
from Abobe. On Adobe website, you may see a message: �Adobe Flash Player is built-in but has been disabled.' Please ignore this message & uncheck the install McAfee option before downloading the Flash Player
Note:
Google Chrome updates take place automatically. After each Chrome update, PPAPI Flash plug-in
gets enabled and is set as default. So this fix may have to be repeated.
